By connecting the built-in USB-C cable to a source device that supports USB DisplayPort Alt Mode, you can output 4K video and digital audio to a compatible monitor, television or projector without installing special software drivers. The U444-06N-HVDPW also supports DisplayPort MST (Multi-Stream Transport) mode, which allows you to show different video on each display, duplicate the same video on all displays, or combine all monitors into one large display.

Transmits Crystal-Clear 4K HDMI and DisplayPort Video and Digital Audio
To send digital audio and Ultra High Definition video to a 4K-ready HDMI and/or DP television, projector and/or monitor, connect the HDMI and DP ports to the displays with user-supplied cabling (such as P569-Series HDMI and P580-Series DP cables). The adapter supports Ultra HD resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 (4K x 2K) at 30 Hz (HDMI) and 60 Hz (DP).

You Can Keep Using Your Current VGA Monitor and Save Money
The all-in-one unit also features an HD15 port, in addition to HDMI and DP. This allows you to continue using an existing VGA display, instead of investing money in something new. The HD15 port supports high-definition resolutions up to 1920 x 1200, including 1080p, at 60 Hz.
