15-Pin Splitter Allows Additional SATA Drive to be Added to a Computer or Server
This 15-pin SATA power Y cable allows an additional SATA hard drive to be added to a computer or server when no additional power supply wiring harness connectors are available. Simply unplug a SATA hard drive power cable from the existing SATA hard drive and connect the plug-and-play splitter to the power cable's 15-pin female end. Reconnect the old and new drives with the two new female 15-pin ends. This eliminates the need to upgrade the computer power supply for compatibility with an additional SATA drive.
