Cisco Nexus 6004EF expansion modules offer multiple interface options with the chassis base. Each 40 Gigabit Ethernet expansion module provides 12 ports of 40 Gigabit Ethernet and FCoE ports using a QSFP interface. With all eight expansion modules installed, the Cisco Nexus 6004EF delivers 96 ports of QSFP or 384 ports of 10 Gigabit Ethernet (SFP+) using the breakout cables. And all expansion modules are hot swappable.
