Cisco N5600-M12Q= network switch module Gigabit Ethernet

The Cisco Nexus 5648Q has two bays for a Generic Expansion Module (GEM). The GEM for the Cisco Nexus 5648Q provides 12 40 Gigabit QSFP+ Ethernet/FCoE ports. The expansion module supports native 40 Gigabit Ethernet on the QSFP+ ports and provides a total of 48 40Gbps ports in the system, if two are installed. The expansion module is supported on the Cisco Nexus 5624Q and 5648Q chassis only.
