Targus 4Vu Magnetic Privacy Screen 31.5" Monitor Frameless display privacy filter

The 4Vu Magnetic Privacy Screen for 31.5” Edge to Edge Infinity Monitors (16:9) reduces the viewing angle on your screen, safeguarding information and sensitive data from prying eyes in the office or in public.

The 4Vu Privacy Screen protects your information using tiny vertical blinds on the surface of the privacy screen, which narrow the viewing angle so data is only visible directly in front of the monitor up to 30° away from the center of the screen.

Onlookers will only see a dark, unclear screen when attempting to view the information from a side angle when held in landscape orientation. In addition to providing security, the screen also helps block the glare from lights and windows. The 4Vu Privacy Screen can be easily attached by using the included attachments.

Three Easy Installation Options for Bezel-less Displays
Maintain privacy while maximizing your viewing area. Quickly and easily attach the screen directly to your display using one of the three convenient installation options.

– Magnetic attachment: Attach magnetic hinges to the top of the privacy screen and the magnetic strip to the top of the display to create a seamless on/off experience.
– Long adhesive strips: Stick on to the LCD screen for a firm, fixed hold.
– Universal flexi-hinges: Attach to the top of the privacy screen and over the top of the laptop to create a seamless on/off experience with a simple flip. Use the included adhesive lift tab, to easily flip from privacy mode to public mode without fingerprints.
Long adhesives can be used up 50 times and are able to be cleaned with water or tape to remove any dust before reuse; flexi-hinges can flip over 1000 times.

30° Viewing Angle
Perfect for busy offices or public environments, the 4Vu Privacy Screen keeps your data safe from prying eyes. Your content is visible only to the person directly in front of the screen and up to 30° on either side when held horizontally. You have full clarity and visibility, while onlookers or passersby see only a black screen.

Antimicrobial Properties
Ideal for touch screen applications, the privacy screen features Targus DefenseGuard™ Antimicrobial Protection, which creates a cleaner touchpoint surface and works continuously to prevent the growth of microorganisms. Unlike topically applied sprays, DefenseGuard privacy screens are treated with an antimicrobial additive that does not wear off and lasts for the life of the product.

Reduced Glare, Even in Bright Rooms
For an added benefit, our 4Vu Privacy Screens come with a dual finish – with one side being glossy for a clearer view, while the opposite side offers a matte finish to help reduce glare. Our anti-reflective coating reduces glare and improves light transmittance under most viewing conditions. The result is brightness that’s up to 12.4% higher than competitive privacy screens for comfortable, clear views.
