The ZenWiFi AX Hybrid combines Wi-Fi and MoCA technologies, providing the ideal solution for homes with thick or metal-reinforced walls that cause Wi-Fi backhaul problems. Backhaul data for the mesh network can be sent via coaxial cable over the existing coax wires in your home, so Wi-Fi devices can connect at full AX3000 Wi-Fi 6 speeds. The MoCA 2.5standard is almost 2X faster* than the previous standard MoCA 2.0.

MoCA 2.5 Ensures reliable backhaul transmission
ASUS ZenWiFi AX Hybrid uses MoCA 2.5 as dedicated backhaul transmission and the transmitted speed over coax wires over to 2 Gbps. That's almost twice as fast as the previous MoCA 2.0 standard!

ASUS ZenWiFi AX Hybrid gives you three alternative backhaul options: MoCA, Ethernet and Wi-Fi. The router intelligently chooses the most reliable method for you, based on connection quality. If you prefer, you can also manually choose the type of backhaul connection.
