Square D (Schneider Electric) Auxiliary Contact (Spring) OF/SD - 1 NO/NC
It is a single standard auxiliary contact that provides two remote information of the circuit breaker status. It is used on Compact NSXm and PowerPact B devices. The OF contact (open/closed) indicates the position of the circuit breaker main contacts. The SD contact (trip indication) indicates if the circuit breaker has tripped. There is one auxiliary contact model for OF and SD information, depending on where it is fitted in the device. This auxiliary is a common point changeover type contact with 1 normally open contact and 1 normally closed contact. The rated current is 5A and the minimum load is 2mA at 17 VDC. TeSys LRD overload relays are designed to be used with TeSys D contactors to make a motor starter. This overload relay can be used with 40 amp through 65 amp TeSys D contactors. These differential thermal overload relays detect over currents in the lines to the motor. When an overcurrent is detected the overload relay working with the contactor will disconnect the power to the motor. This will minimize the damage to the motor windings. This overload relay has an adjustable trip current rating of 48 to 65 amperes. This trip current rating is calibrated per Class 10A. This overload relay uses EVERLINK termnals in place of the standard terminals.
