Used only in drywall, this Dottie anchor has better pullout and shear values than plastic anchors. Installed by inserting Phillips or square drive bit into the anchor and driving it into the drywall until flush. Use the same bit to insert the proper sheet metal screw to mount the fixture. The anchor is easy to spot and will not break out the backing of the drywall. No drill bit needed. -
